Happy St. Patrick's Day

Wishing a wonderful day to everyone that celebrates St. Patrick's Day.

Here's a little stitchery I made in honor of the day.

The pattern came from Chestnut Junction. They have some really cute patterns. I like the ones like this that are simple and quick to finish.

I have several things for Easter, but I don't know if I'll be able to get them all done. Maybe if I can at least get a couple done for this year I'll feel like I've accomplished something. :0)

A little less help please......

Tonight I was making flour tortillas from a recipe I got here.

They turned out pretty good (I think mine needed just a smidge more milk) but I do need to work on the whole getting them round thing.

(This was the best one of the bunch)

Why do I need a little less help?

Because, my kids are gone to my parents for spring break. I dropped them off yesterday.

Anyway, their dogs already miss them.

In case you don't know, I have four children. They each have their own dog (plus some other pets, but that's beside the point.)

Even though the kids are gone, the dogs still want some human attention and interaction. We live in a 3000SF +/- house and all four dogs felt the need to be with me at the stove.

Makes it tough to get close to the stove much less get anything else done.

Bunny

I knitted this little bunny from a pattern on Ravelry. (It's a membership site, but a great on for knitting or crochet patterns).

(sorry the pictures aren't better -- story of my life. lol)

Anyway, the head and body are made of one square of knitted 'fabric'. It's a great little pattern.

I was making it for a Toy Society drop, but my kids fell in love with it. And of course they all want one. Since I didn't give them each a bird the last time, I decided I'd better include them at some point.....so I've got three more bunnies to make.

I only have one more ear to knit on the one I'm currently making, then I just need to stitch and stuff it. It's been fun working on this one. :0)
